Matti Silveri

I am a theoretical physicist focusing in quantum devices, quantum simulations, and quantum information. My research combines analytic, numerical and collaborative experimental approaches and focuses on qubits based on superconducting circuits. The main goal is to find answers to the following questions: What are the models that can be potentially solved with quantum simulators in the near future and how do imperfections of quantum devices affect to the simulations and their reliability. I am a leader of the project ‘Localization and dissipation in superconducting quantum simulations’ funded by the Academy of Finland and the Emil Aaltonen Foundation.
